Leigh’s Bike
Leigh was my first customer, when I built her road bike a few years ago, and now she has become my first repeat customer. Leigh wanted a classic British style bike. She is currently in England getting her PhD and we will be visiting her soon. Thanks Leigh! I hope you enjoy the bike! More pics on flickr.

Kevin’s bike is back from paint. Kevin put a deposit on a bike at last year’s Cirque du Cyclisme and he wanted to do something with the classic Nervex lugs. I love this color yellow. I had fun with this bike. Definitely something different.

Seth from Baltimore Velo and a friend came by the shop the other day and took some pictures and talked. I appreciate their time and interest and enjoyed taking time out of my day to hang out for awhile. If you live in Maryland, definitely check out their blog, which covers a wide variety of topics related to cycling in Baltimore and Maryland: http://baltimorevelo.com/
Check out the write up here at the Baltimore Velo website: http://baltimorevelo.com/2011/06/feature-bishop-bikes-workshop-tour/
Jo’s Bike
I just finished Jo’s bike and sent it to paint today. This bike is modeled after the MS track bike I did for NAHBS, but I actually like this bike better. There are some cool changes with this bike. The bike has a KVA stainless rear end, MKS dropouts, and Columbus Air fork. The front triangle is Columbus Spirit for lugs. I also really like how the bridge turned out for this bike. More pics on flickr…
I will be taking this bike to France next month. Can’t wait!

[Post by Caroline] Chris got some nice NAHBS coverage in Pedal Speed Magazine (www.pedalspeed.com). Here he is with Dan’s Rando. Bilenky made the cover!: http://www.hobidas.com/blog/pedalspeed/staff/ There is a lot of great NAHBS coverage and photos of a variety of builders and their bikes in the issue.
In other news, we received the latest Cog Magazine (issue 10) a little while ago and there is a great article on Ellis Cycles and interview with Dave Wages. Check it out: http://www.cogmag.com/past-issues.html.
